Mount Rigi Liqueur
The Product Brief
Mount Rigi was first imagined in 2015 with a plan to revive Kirsch, a colourless brandy traditionally made from double distillation of morello cherries.
In 2018, we were able to bring to manufacture a bottle inspired by the Swiss Alps and Mount Rigi’s cherry distillery.
Embossed wave patterning and sprayed colour are two decoration techniques that give Mount Rigi a unique look.

Step 1
We took a 3D model and modified it for manufacture. Design elements such as the angle of the debossed waves were initially a challenge but our design team worked to find a technical solution to produce the bottle efficiently. Using 3D design techniques we were able to rework the model to adjust the bottle’s structure for mould opening.

Step 2
We designed the text stipple to ensure maximum clarity, which is vital to brand messaging. We also created a push to represent Mount Rigi, which is difficult to manufacture as the glass can sink if not controlled correctly.
